Castello is a cozy little Italian restaurant in what used to be a house with a gorgeous view of the water. Service was incredible and the food even better. They have fantastic pizza and the pasta is FRESH! An amazing Italian place.

Italian/Greek. $$ Fantastic food. Large portions. Fantastic garlic rolls. Very satisfied with meal and service. I would recommend if you live in area. Niantic, CT.

We recently moved to Niantic and luckily, this gem is just right down the road! I have never had a bad meal here. In fact, their pink vodka sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. I love coming here because they make you feel welcome and feel like family! My fiancé is a huge fan of their pizza whereas I usually stick to the pastas. We have been waited on by many different servers and all have been extremely pleasant! We also order take out from here pretty frequently as well and nothing has ever been amiss. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for some delicious, AUTHENTIC, Italian food!

I has the lunch special. 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $5. Slices were a good size but very thin. Got 2 slices of pepperoni it seemed like they had premade cheese pizza and just added pepperoni after. Not a bad thing and a smart buisness move. Wasn't the best pizza but I feel I got my money's worth. I was full and the pizza wasn't bad. I would live to order a whole pizza to see how it is

We recently had a last minute, small family wedding and asked Castello if they could accommodate. Two weeks before the event they were able to get a menu together and they paid attention to every detail from food, to decor, to logistics, considering it was supposed to be outdoors on their patio. The day of our wedding was an absolute mess in terms of weather. Literal downpours all day. I was stressing to the max. My wedding dinner was scheduled for 6 pm on the uncovered patio. At 4 pm Stanley, the owner, texted me a picture of the patio. He and his staff had set up his own party tent, in the POURING RAIN, dried and decorated everything, and were ready for us at 6. Absolutely beautiful and incredible night for us. Everything went off without a hitch, and we are forever grateful to Stanley, Dave, Nick, and staff for their impeccable service, fantastic food, and the way they went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Best restaurant in Niantic, hands down.

Service was good. Food was reasonably priced. No time limit on seating outside.

I grew up on the New Haven-style of pizza. As a kid names like Frank Pepe’s, Sally’s, Modern Appiza and Zuppardi’s. I consider there pizza right up there. My favorites are the potato bacon and onion along with the meatball.I highly recommend you stop in and visit Stan and the crew.
